From character profiles to interviews, if you're interested in the Bootleg King For Another Day Tournament, the TOJO!!'s got you covered!
The Bootleg King For Another Day Tournament is an event similar to SiIvaGunner's King For Another Day Tournament, featuring 32 characters from a variety of different media, who battle it out with unique music and audio sources!
During the tournament, unique arrangements and mashups representing each characters sourcelist will be posted, and if you like the sound of what a character has, vote for them in their next match! Who wins is up to popular vote, so it's up to you to push for what you want to hear!
The tournament is double elimination, meaning that a character has to lose twice to be eliminated completely, so if your favorite goes out Round 1, it's not over yet! However, once only four contestants remain, no character gets a second chance!
Their fates lie in your hands, so make sure you vote responsibly!
The second place contestant will receive a special reward of some kind, but only one can become this tournament's King For A Day, and receive their own special event day themed around their sourcelist, consisting of original high-quality themed rips, more arrangements, duals with the other eliminated contestants, and more!
Alongside the tournament, The Bootleg King For Another Day Exhibition Bracket consists of another 16 characters, however this bracket is single elimination! The runner-up and winner of this bracket get a very special role in the Final 4...
A grand total of 48 characters are competing in the tournament's two brackets, with even more appearing as staff, bonuses, or guests!
For a full list of who's competing, check out the Choose Your Character tab!
If you want to follow the tournament, the best places to do so are on our official Discord Server and our YouTube Channel!
You can also follow us on our mirror SoundClouds, but these aren't quite up to date yet, and are liable to be updated less due to the lack of ability to schedule uploads!
Voting in the tournament is as simple as looking for a Vs. Screen!
When one is posted, look in the description for the voting form, and you'll have 24 hours to vote for which of the two fighting characters you want to see a takeover from the most!
Matches are posted once per day in 4-match strings, with a break day between those strings.
Check in once per day at the same time, and you'll be able to vote in them all!
Be careful with your choice, as once it's locked in, you cannot change it.
The next round is Winners' Bracket Round 1, which will start sometime in early 2022.

Of course!
When a contestant is eliminated, their victory theme will be uploaded, and in some cases, they'll get a special elimination track to go along with it, as well as a bracket track with some of the other characters eliminated that round!
Music and lore involving eliminated contestants doesn't stop being created when they're eliminated, and while you might not see that much more from them right away, their backlog will be uploaded later down the line!
The idea to make a parody KFAD tournament was caused by the recent appearance of the Bean Leak, a well-known fake King For Another Day Tournament leak which featured characters like Mr. Bean and Nakoruru, and ended up gaining major traction in the discord and with the tournament's staff itself, making enough of an impact for Mr. Bean to be officially recognized in a fake KFAD2 reveal before the final direct!
The leak was widely joked about in the SiIvaGunner Discord, causing many people to make their own versions of the leak, and it caused a major resurgence of people coming up with jokey tournament characters and takeovers, such as the GEICOver, or the Zebra Cakes and Rakeover!
People making their own rosters, character ideas, and more gave us the bright idea to make a parody tournament featuring these ideas and some of our own, and as such, BKFAD1 was born on 6/27/2019!
Consisting of 32 brand-new characters taken from discord suggestions, this semi-joke tournament was one of the earliest tournaments ever made, preceded only by four other early tournament series: the Duck World: King For A Day Tournament series, the SiIvaGunner: King For A Day Tournament LOW QUALITY EDITION series, Mashups for a Month, and Las Aventuras de Nacho21 Championship: RE-IMAGINATED.
The tournament finished on 7/20/2019, and the victor was Neil Cicierega, with the Mystery Ghost being the runner-up!
Their prizes... weren't great.
However, right after the first tournament finished, a second, higher-quality tournament was being worked on, as beginning on 7/20/2019, the same day that Neil was crowned, development for The Bootleg King For Another Day Tournament, the one you're looking at right now, started with the creation of the first version of the Moneko and Neneko (ft. Kebako) render!
Since it's inception, the tournament's overall style has been revised multiple times, reinventing itself to be (hopefully) higher and higher quality each time!
